Small Business Development

Journey to Success

Owning and running a small business can be hard. You have to wear every hat in the business. But you are not expected to be an expert in everything. That is why there are professionals out there to help with marketing, sales, digital ads, web design and so much more. I am a firm believer in utilizing these professionals as it is what they do, day in, day out. BUT it is important to recognize when it is time to bring them in. If your business is not ready for that step, it could waste you lots of money.

That is where I come in. I help create the plan. The plan that will detail each stage you want your business to get to, each target to reach, to reach your top business goal.

There are several ways businesses can use me and my expertise. Some use me as part of brainstorming sessions where I can give another perspective on potential ideas and pick up on any pro’s and con’s. Giving you the time to focus on the more important parts of your business. Other use my skills in project management and events to take the lead and do the leg work involved in launching new products or services.

Sometimes your business just needs a helping hand to get on with market research, creating and distributing feedback surveys, researching other audiences, new technology, new strategies and more.

I decided to work with small businesses and start ups because I feel they are backbone of our economy. And navigating the first year in business is tricky. I act as an ad-hoc business development manager. Myriad can help with setting up your business, put you in the right direction for what you may need and discovering your target audiences and helping to craft your marketing message to make sure you are projecting the right image.

In my previous working years, I have worked in a myriad of different industries. During my careers I have managed to help and improve various charities and small business marketing plans. This included looking at target audiences, signposting to funding opportunities, referring other companies that could help and even just being there as a sounding board for future projects. Giving another perspective on the feasibility and potential pitfalls that others may not think of.

And if you are looking for something that I don’t specialise in, then I have an array of trusted contacts and partners who do. I don’t recommend anyone who I haven’t worked with personally or know someone who has.
